I’ve never been so taken aback by the results of a piece drying overnight. This was simply a base layer of hibiscus tea applied right before temperatures dipped below freezing. The branches, veins, and feathery looking ice patterns that developed under those very specific conditions made a simple base layer of color become a complex finished piece.
This piece could never ever be replicated and since temperatures fell below freezing only two times this year, it becomes even more special.
