Springtime in the PNW means a constant snowstorm of cottonwood. There was no way to create this piece without them leaving their mark. As for the melting pattern, I’ve never seen it hug the periphery of the canvas in such a prominent way. It’s also teal green only in the gaps of the bones. Such a pleasant surprise.
