I love how the ginger shoots and pig blood interacted. The frozen tea, not so much. Despite conditions being seemingly identical to previous trials, techniques involving frozen pigments remain some of the most inconsistent and unpredictable. When they work perfectly, the results can be something special, but this one didn’t quite get there for me. Still, it feels like a fitting piece for the season.
